A 42-year-old resident of The Villages was arrested in the theft of a Lego set at Walmart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages.
Nicholas Cantele, who lives in the Paige Villas in the Village of Sanibel, was at the store at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday when he headed for the self-checkout lane, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
A loss prevention officer watched as the former Arizona resident scanned a Lego Star Wars set for $4.97.
