S.F. man convicted of violent Outer Richmond robbery

A San Francisco jury convicted a man of carrying out a violent residential robbery in the Outer Richmond in 2023, officials for the district attorney’s office said Thursday.

Darryl Robinson, 59 — who is also known as Patrick Rushing — was convicted of first-degree robbery, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, child endangerment and other criminal counts in an incident where he threatened to shoot a mother while she and two young daughters were pulling into their home’s garage.

According to testimony presented at trial, Robinson accosted the 32-year-old mother while she was attempting to get her children out of their car on the evening of March 24, 2023. Robinson entered the garage wearing a mask and held a loaded gun to the victim’s chest while demanding she give him her wallet, prosecutors said…
