BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Six people have been charged with larceny after law enforcement recovered more than $508,000 worth of stolen property.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, “104 total charges have been filed, and investigators have recovered more than $508,000 worth of stolen property, much of which has been returned to rightful owners.”
Johnnie Ray Ison, 32, of Leland, was arrested on Sept. 23 and charged with the following:
- Five counts of larceny of motor vehicle
- 14 counts of felony larceny
- Six counts of breaking and/or entering
- Three counts of larceny after breaking/entering
- possession of stolen goods/property
- Three counts of obtaining property under false pretenses
- Misdemeanor larceny
- Two counts of larceny from a construction site
- Alter/remove NMV serial number
- Six counts of breaking/entering motor vehicle with theft (x6)
- Two counts of larceny of a firearm
- Larceny of motor vehicle parts
- Second-degree trespass
- Injury to personal property
Randy William Hill, 42, of Leland, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with the following:
- Four counts of larceny of motor vehicle
- 12 counts of felony larceny
- Six counts of breaking and/or entering
- Three counts of larceny after breaking/entering
- Possession of stolen goods/property
- Three counts of obtaining property by false pretenses
- Misdemeanor larceny
- Two counts of larceny from a construction site
- Alter/remove NMV serial number
- Four counts of breaking/entering motor vehicle with theft
- Two counts of larceny of a firearm
- Larceny of motor vehicle parts
- Second-degree trespass
- Injury to personal property
Alex Kade Malpass, 32, of Leland, was arrested on Aug. 25 and charged with the following:
- Larceny of a firearm
- Breaking/entering motor vehicle with theft
- Three counts of felony larceny
- Second-degree trespass
- Injury to personal property
Alexander Robbins, 59, of Murrill Lane, Leland, was arrested and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
Beautry Pollard, 81, of Chappell Loop Rd., was arrested on Oct. 6 for receiving stolen goods/property…
