Arlington ISD weighs $10.4M plan to build child care centers for employees

Arlington school trustees are considering a $10.4 million proposal to create two reduced-price child care centers for district employees.

Trustees discussed the still-developing idea during an Oct. 2 school board meeting. Arlington ISD administrators are looking to use part of the district’s nearly $1 billion bond from 2019 for construction costs. The centers would serve children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old.
