CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Corpus Christi has named Dr. Anita Kurian as the new director of the Corpus Christi–Nueces County Public Health District.
Kurian previously served as assistant director at the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, where she was responsible for the activities of the Communicable Diseases Division. The division includes Epidemiology, Immunizations Division, STD/HIV clinic, and Tuberculosis clinic, according to the SAMHD website.
