LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — The Accelerate Northside program has begun in Lafayette, organized by the Louisiana Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (LEED) Center to help local entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
The program aims to support business start-ups and owners in building and expanding their ventures over a six-week period. Currently, more than 40 people and businesses are enrolled in the program.
“And it’s designed to bring entrepreneurship to parts of our city where we don’t necessarily have a long history of innovation and entrepreneurship,” said Geoffrey Stewart, the UL Moody Company Endowed Chair in Regional Business Development. “So, we started this as a way of making entrepreneurship part of our community and we’re very happy with the progress so far.”…
