Two Marinette police officers who fatally shot a suspect near Peshtigo in August will not face criminal charges. That decision comes from Marinette County District Attorney DeShea Morrow, who ruled the officers’ use of deadly force was justified. On August 29th, Officers Parker De Los Santos and Andrew Bonjean pursued 23-year-old Andrew Collamore after spotting a vehicle connected to a Dane County homicide. Collamore’s car was stopped with a tire-deflation device along Highway 41 near Schacht Road, just south of Marinette. The vehicle rolled across the median and into the opposite lanes before coming to rest. According to investigators, Collamore told officers he had a knife and refused repeated commands to drop it.
