We’re watching Celina heat up again — this time with a new Huffines Communities project named Serenade Texas, promising a $100 million buildout in record time.
Unlike most master planned communities that roll out in phases over several years, Huffines says Serenade will skip the drawn-out phasing that’s standard for these large projects and instead be delivered fully within 24 months. Located just west of Preston Road near the Collin–Grayson County line, Serenade will bring 875 homes to the 414-acre development for a targeted Spring 2027 opening.
That means when homeowners move in, they’ll have access to the full suite of amenities — from resort-style pools to pickleball courts — from day one. All-in-one builds are not the norm. In most master-planned communities, roads, utilities, home sites, amenities, and homes themselves roll out over 5 to 10 years or more.
