WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A man made his first appearance in a Butler County courtroom on Wednesday, where he was charged in a deadly weekend shooting at El Dorado Lake.
Jeffrey Boucher is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 57-year-old Rodney Logan. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened around 4 a.m. on Monday.
A GoFundMe has been created to help pay for memorial expenses. According to the page, Logan was out doing what he loved when he was shot and killed. No motive has been given.
Boucher is being held on a $100,000 bond with the condition that he must not enter any part of the El Dorado State Park. He also must stay in either Butler or Sedgwick County and wear a GPS monitoring device…
