Federal Way Police officers arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with a Feb. 13 murder at the Pavilion Apartments in Federal Way, and officers also located another 19-year-old man connected to the alleged crime.
On Oct. 8, Federal Way police announced that Federal Way detectives and Valley SWAT located a 16-year-old boy at a home in Issaquah, arrested him and booked him into the King County Juvenile Detention Center in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Nena Edmonds. According to the department, on Feb. 13, Edmonds was discovered shot outside her residence at the Pavilion Apartments, 1900 SW Campus Drive. The department stated that the 16-year-old suspect was 15 at the time of the alleged crime.
According to the department, officers also identified a 19-year-old man who had a prior relationship with Edmonds, but he is currently in custody on unrelated charges.
