A Stoller Group development company has broken ground on a $50-million-plus five-story, 118-room hotel at the Evergreen campus that’s home to the famous Spruce Goose airplane and other attractions.
Construction of the Marriott AC Retreat at Evergreen is beginning more than five years after The Stoller Group acquired the McMinnville property that includes the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, the Wings & Waves Waterpark, a theater and various event spaces.
What the property didn’t have then, despite years of talk about one being built, was a hotel. But it was zoned for one and it’s now becoming a reality…
