Hard Rock International recently announced that the $600 million facility, Hard Rock Casino Tejon, will open its doors nearly a month ahead of schedule on Nov. 13 in Kern County. The area is located about 15 miles south of Bakersfield on Tejon Indian Tribal land.

“Today marks a historic moment for the Tejon Indian Tribe and the entire Kern County community,” III Chairman of the Tejon Tribe, Octavio Escobedo, said during the announcement on Oct. 2. “The opening of Hard Rock Casino Tejon is not only a celebration of our Tribe’s heritage and resilience but also a bold step forward in creating opportunity and prosperity for future generations.”
