BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The man killed on Meadow Vista Court over the weekend was shot in front of his mother by a rival gang member, police say in a new court filing.
Evan Zion Aleman, 18, was a member of the Colonia Bakers street gang and was targeted by rival gang members who waited for him to leave a house party early Sunday then followed him home, according to a probable cause declaration.
