CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The City of Charleston remains under a coastal flood warning Thursday evening by the National Weather Service, as king tides are expected to hit some areas Friday morning.
Several areas were temporarily closed due to flooding after the peak of high tide. Some of them included a portion of South Market Street, Hagood Avenue, and Lockwood Drive.
High tide occurred at 10:06 a.m. and receded around 10:30 a.m. It reached nearly eight feet, delaying some people’s commutes…
