ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare is hosting a Halloween-themed pet adoption event, and it’s free to attend.

The ‘Howl-o-Ween’ event will feature free pet adoptions, food trucks, vendors, and pet resources, according to a county news release.
Officials said all adoption fees for cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies will be waived during the event, but a $15 licensing fee will be required for Escambia County residents.
