Habitual traffic offender stopped with license revoked since 2009

A Leesburg man was arrested after being stopped for driving with a license that had been revoked since 2009.

An officer saw 47-year-old Theodore Lamar McNealy driving a dark passenger vehicle without its front headlights and taillights on around 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, according to an arrest report from the Eustis Police Department. Seeing this, the officer stopped the vehicle at the intersection of South Bay Street and Ward Avenue.

McNealy advised that he did not have his license with him, instead giving his name and date of birth. A record check revealed he was a habitual traffic offender, and his license had been revoked since 2009. He also had six failures to pay court financial obligations, a criminal failure to pay and a failure to complete a Basic Driver Improvement course by the deadline, the report said…
