Sacramento man arrested in connection with Sun Valley homicide

Six months after a fatal incident in Sun Valley, authorities have arrested a Sacramento man in connection with the death of 53-year-old Thomas Donoho.

On Wednesday, October 9, Curtis Lee Williams, 44, was taken into custody by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Bureau on an arrest warrant for murder. Williams is currently awaiting extradition to Nevada to face a charge of Murder, Second Degree with the Use of a Deadly Weapon, a violation of NRS 200.030(2).

The investigation began on April 9, when Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) deputies responded to a reported medical emergency on the 300 block of Short Avenue in Sun Valley. Donoho was transported to a local hospital, where he later died…
