BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office was called to a crash on the interstate early Friday morning.
A spokesperson for the East Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services confirmed that the coroner was called to an accident on I-12 eastbound, between Jefferson Highway and Airline Highway, which happened around 2 a.m.
According to Baton Rouge Traffic on X, I-12 east was closed at Essen Lane. Drivers are being diverted onto Essen Lane (Exit 1B)…
