Green Bay apartment complex resident treated for burns during kitchen fire

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – One person was treated for burns at a local hospital following a fire that started in the kitchen of a Green Bay apartment complex on Thursday night.

According to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, crews were called to the Hickory Hill apartment complex on Clement Street around 11:45 p.m. on October 9 for reports of a fire.

The Green Bay Police Department was the first agency at the scene, where they found flames and one resident suffering from burns on his hands and feet. Authorities noted that the man was burned while allegedly trying to carry a burning pan filled with grease outside the apartment.
