ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Monte Henderson has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for the February 2024 incident that killed a mother and daughter after a Drake concert in downtown St. Louis.
Henderson addressed the family of the victims at Friday’s sentencing hearing, telling them words cannot express how sorry he is, and he would do anything to take it back. He also said he starts and ends his day praying for them.
Prosecutors said Henderson was driving over 70 mph when he ran a red light, killing 42-year-old Laticha Bracero, known as Lety, and her 21-year-old daughter Alyssa Cordova, as they left the Drake concert on Valentine’s Day in 2024.
