WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has approved a plan to expand the Crown Uptown Theatre.
Owner Mike Brown purchased the historic theater in 2023. Last year, he sought approval from the city to expand the theater, arguing that at its current capacity, he could not turn a profit.
