GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -Crews worked to save a moose that fell in a canal in Estes Park on October 2nd. Crews had to use ropes to keep the animal’s head above the water and a crane to eventually lift it out.
The Bureau of Reclamation (BR) and Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) worked together to help save the moose.
Officials said the animal only suffered minor injuries. Wildlife officers also said they used tranquilizers just to be safe…
