Bakersfield PD arrests 6 in connection to multiple retail thefts

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department announced on Friday its Organized Retail Theft unit arrested six people for multiple theft incidents throughout Bakersfield.

Police arrested four people on Sept. 29 following nine separate theft incidents, according to BPD. The suspects allegedly targeted several retail stores including Ulta, Nordstrom Rack, Target and PetSmart and caused a total loss of merchandise worth $9,234.76.

Roberto Cardiel and Tiffany Marchand, both 32, were arrested for multiple charges related to theft and drug activity, officials said. Brioni Castro, 35, and Lindsey Owen, 29, were also arrested for multiple charges related to theft.
