Guilford County considering big incentive package for company that could bring over 500 new jobs

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Guilford County commissioners will hold a public hearing on October 22 at 4 p.m. to consider a $17.9 million incentive grant for a proposed project that could bring more than 500 new jobs to the area.

The project, known as Project Titan, involves a potential $860 million investment in the Rock Creek area of Guilford County. County officials say it could create 505 jobs by the end of 2033.

If approved, the county would fund the incentive through its general fund. Officials believe the project would help “stimulate and stabilize the local economy.”…
