In a recent sweep by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit and the US Marshals Task Force, three individuals have been apprehended in relation to separate shooting incidents across the city. According to an IMPD News social media post, 31-year-old Dennis Kendall, 23-year-old Dasia Jackson, and 32-year-old Che’Anne Miller are now in custody facing serious charges, ranging from murder to attempted battery with a deadly weapon.
IMPD detectives initially arrested Kendall, carrying a gun and attempting to aid an injured adult male, after a southwest side shooting. With evidence recovered at the scene, they later pegged him as the shooter.
