A man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing early Friday morning at the Los Angeles-area home of singer-songwriter, record producer and actor Tinashe, Los Angeles police said.
LAPD officers arrived at the 32-year-old artist’s home at about 3:30 a.m. after security camera images showed a man on the property, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates. The man tried to open a locked door, but did not enter the home, police said.
The 33-year-old suspect, identified as Kevin Casco, told police he is a SoundCloud rapper — artists who gained notoriety in the 2010s by uploading songs to the distribution platform — and was there to meet Tinashe, the LAPD said.
