IOWA CITY, Iowa — The fight over the future of an Eastern Iowa branch of the State Historical Society continues. The research and archive facility is housed in the Centennial building in Iowa City and the State Historical Society of Iowa is facing a lawsuit over plans to close this location.
There are 17 plaintiffs in this lawsuit including retired employees, professors and concerned citizens.
