Green Bay School Board to adjust school security measures

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Area Public School Board is looking to adjust security measures enacted recently at local schools.

It comes after authorities discovered a student at Preble High School had a loaded gun in his backpack.

One of the new security measures included clear backpacks for middle and high school students. Now, the district is considering a plan to have middle and high school students store their backpacks during the day, in assigned and locked lockers, or in designated storage areas…
