Albany County has plans for former interfaith sanctuary on Saint Rose campus

ALBANY — Albany County is further expanding its footprint on the former College of Saint Rose campus.

The Pine Hills Land Authority approved an amendment to its agreement with the county that will give the county temporary use of the former Hubbard Interfaith Sanctuary.

The sanctuary, at 959 Madison Ave., was built in 1997 to accommodate individual meditation as well as group worship. It was named after former Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany Bishop Howard Hubbard…
