Halloween is approaching, ghouls and ghosts! Eckerd students and alumni have graciously shared their eerie on-campus stories. Many of these tales focus on well-known, lived-in spaces on campus; so keep an eye out for any odd shadows or frightening sights!
One story begins in Sigma during the freshman year of Raine Williams, now a senior in creative writing. During Autumn Term, Williams walked back to their dorm with one of their roommates and something ghostly occurred.
“Right before we unlocked the door, we heard our other roommate calling my name from the parking lot,” said Williams. After leaning over the balcony of the dorm complex, calling back to the voice, neither Williams nor their roommate heard any response and walked inside their dorm…
