Residents and visitors of Franklin, Wakulla and nearby counties are asked to join in a search Friday morning for a St. George Island woman who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.
Capt. Brett Serace, a spokesman for the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office, said that as of 9:30 p.m. ET Thursday, a massive search effort had failed to identify the whereabouts of Ellen Ashdown, 80.
