No sentencing for East Greenbush in fatal 2024 River Road crash that killed Hannacroix woman

  • District Attorney’s office seeking enhanced sentence due to recent arrest

ALBANY – It probably was not the day 25-year-old Jacklyn Parker of East Greenbush expected when she stepped into an Albany County courtroom on October 10 and heard Albany County Judge William Little’s decree sending her to jail and postponing her sentencing date until October 28.

Judge Little will also be deciding whether to increase her prison sentence.

Under a July 14 plea agreement, Parker had pled guilty to criminally negligent homicide in connection with an August 2024 car crash that killed 60-year-old Hannacroix resident Colleen Selkirk. That charge carries a maximum sentence of four years, but the plea agreement reduced the sentence to one to three years…
