Orange Coast College’s CLEEO Project (Counseling Latin@s for Equity & Engagement) invited veteran Chicano photojournalist Luis C. Garza to discuss his photography career on Tuesday as a part of OCC’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.
Garza was born in 1943 in the South Bronx, New York. He started photographing his surroundings during the Civil Rights movements of the 1960s and 1970s in New York and Los Angeles.
