City of Columbia adds second day of concerts to Finlay Park grand reopening weekend

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The City of Columbia is extending the grand reopening celebration of Finlay Park with a second day of concerts and community festivities, inviting residents to enjoy a full weekend of music, food, and family fun in the heart of downtown.

The revitalized Finlay Park will officially reopen Saturday, Nov. 15, with a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Daniel J. Rickenmann, City Councilmembers, City Manager Teresa Wilson, Assistant City Manager Henry Simons, and community partners.

The celebration will continue throughout the day with the Jam Room Music Festival, featuring local, regional, and national artists performing from noon to 10 p.m. across the park’s two stages — the main amphitheater and the Greenway Stage on Gadsden Green…
