Diane Keaton remembered in Greensboro for her 2019 Chick-fil-A visit

GREENSBORO, N.C. — As news spreads of Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton’s death at 79, WFMY News 2 reflects on a memorable visit she made to Greensboro in 2019.

At the time, Keaton stopped by a Chick-fil-A near Guilford College, delighting employees with her first-ever visit to the restaurant. Staff said she was impressed by the speed of service despite the busy lunch crowd and especially enjoyed the waffle fries with Chick-fil-A sauce and an ice cream cone.
