LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two juveniles were taken into police custody Saturday morning after allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop in La Vergne, then crashing and abandoning a vehicle.
According to La Vergne officials, at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was performing donuts in the area of Heil Quaker Boulevard.
Officers reportedly followed the vehicle down Heil Quaker Boulevard until the road reached a dead end near the Davidson County line. They found the vehicle unoccupied and still running approximately 120 yards from the road after it had crashed into “rough terrain,” authorities said…
