Bellevue apartment complex incident leads to mental health crisis intervention

BELLEVUE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A tense situation unfolded at a Bellevue apartment complex early Friday morning.

Police responded to two 911 text calls around 6:30 a.m. from a man claiming he was being stalked at the Avana Lexington apartment complex on Old Hickory Boulevard.

Officers initially received no response, but on their second attempt, they heard a man yelling inside the apartment followed by a gunshot. It was later determined that the shot was fired through an upstairs window and not aimed at an officer, as police initially reported…
