Teen rescued his missing 5-year-old nonverbal sister who was found in lake, sheriff’s office says

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – A 17-year-old is being credited with helping rescue his missing nonverbal sister from a Florida lake.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to Lake Lisa Park on Monday afternoon to search for a missing 5-year-old autistic and nonverbal child.

Deputies accessed the lake by jumping over a fence and found the girl’s 17-year-old brother was already in the water…
