Rockport Center for the Arts (RCA) Ballet instructor Holly Waxman and RCA Ballet student Lana Johnson were set to perform with Rockport Ballet Theatre at the Bailando International Dance Festival on Oct. 9, 2026 at the H-E-B Performing Arts Center on the campus of Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
Waxman will perform “The Osage Variation” from The Four Moons ballet, choreographed by Miguel Terekhov, while Johnson will perform “Clair de Lune”, choreographed by Waxman.
First premiered by Tulsa Ballet in 1967 for the second Oklahoma Indian Ballet Festival, The Four Moons honors Oklahoma’s internationally acclaimed Native American ballerinas—Maria and Marjorie Tallchief, Rosella Hightower, Yvonne Chouteau, and Moscelyne Larkin.
