HOUSTON, TEXAS — Charges have been filed in connection with the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Angel Chavira outside an apartment complex at 4603 Sherwood Lane on the night of July 5, 2025.
Octavio Garcia Cruz, 48, has been arrested and charged with murder in the 184th Criminal District Court.
