HOUSTON — A wrong-way wreck on the Eastex Freeway had all of the northbound main lanes shut down for hours at Townsen.
The wreck happened around around 3:45 p.m. and the northbound lanes didn’t open up again until a little before 8 p.m.
According to Lt. Terry Garza with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck was caused by a wrong-way driver. At this point, we don’t have word of injuries. The Humble Police Department is investigating. We’ll post updates as we get them…
