MADISON, Wis. — Ahead of Madison Housing Week, AARP Wisconsin spoke to News 3 Now Friday.
Darrin Wasniewski, AARP Wisconsin’s senior associate state director for community outreach, explained why accessory dwelling units (ADUs) may provide small, more accessible living spaces.
“If your home isn’t a place where you can comfortably go older, and you’re looking at maybe a continuum of care facility, which run thousands of dollars every month, then it puts an excessive dwelling unit into a lot better perspective.
