Fort Mill’s Top-10 finish underscores the town’s high-earning, fast-growing suburban economy linked to the Charlotte metro area.
Who’s in the Top 10
The list places Tega Cay first, followed by Kiawah Island, Five Forks, Mount Pleasant and Daniel Island to round out the top five. Fort Mill ranks seventh. Rock Hill was ranked 21st and York 24th, landing four York County municipalities in the top 30.
