According to the analysis, Tega Cay’s No. 1 position reflects high household incomes, strong home values, very low poverty, and quality-of-life amenities tied to Lake Wylie—factors the outlet highlighted in its city profile. Fort Mill’s Top-10 finish underscores the town’s high-earning, fast-growing suburban economy linked to the Charlotte metro area.
