Nonprofit offers relief as soldiers work through government shutdown without pay

Columbia, S.C. (WACH) — As the government shutdown enters its tenth day, military and civilian personnel in South Carolina and across the nation face uncertainty about their next paycheck, due Oct. 15.

Despite the lack of pay, service members are still expected to report for duty.
