HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A woman died after being hit while checking on an injured animal in the road in High Point, according to a High Point Police Department news release.
Around 9 p.m., High Point officers, High Point firefighters and Guilford County EMS responded to the 2800 block of Westchester Drive when they were told a person had been hit by a vehicle.
