Roseville Police Department Targets E-Motorcycles and E-Bikes in Traffic Safety Crackdown

In a recent social media post, the City of Roseville Police Department in California announced the results of a three-day joint operation targeting e-motorcycles and e-bikes. The operation, which took place in September, saw collaboration between Roseville Police, the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Auburn CHP. The aim was to enforce laws related to e-motorcycles and e-bikes and to raise awareness about the rules and potential dangers associated with their use.

The crackdown has resulted in the police conducting “183 traffic stops” and issuing “30 Citations,” according to the post. Additionally, a sizable number of vehicles were removed from circulation, with “25 E-Motorcycles” being towed over the course of the operation. The Roseville Police Department highlighted its commitment to the safety of motorists and citizens, and its intent to continuously work on both enforcement and education regarding electric bike laws.
