First Alert Forecast: rainy, windy low pressure gradually loosening grip

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Through daybreak Sunday, rough coastal low pressure officially brought 1.66 inches of rain and a top gust of 38 mph to Wilmington; as this low wobbles away, expect only marginal improvements to the rain and wind situation through Sunday night, and then an even more settled Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will show a pleasant autumn pattern of 60s and 70s for daily highs and 40s and 50s for nightly lows across the week.
