Man with violent history faces new charges after Mass. home robbery

A Massachusetts man previously sentenced to a decade in prison for a shooting pushed his way into a woman’s house and robbed her in Somerset Thursday.

Jesse Brule, 35, is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday in Rhode Island and then extradited to Massachusetts to face multiple felony charges, including breaking and entering in the daytime and assault and battery on an elderly person.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, Brule knocked on a door at 311 Highview Ave. in Somerset and asked if a specific person lived at the residence, according to Somerset police. He was told that no one by that name resided there…
