NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -On Friday morning, one of Lisa Stemley’s grandchildren walked up her porch and gave her a flower and a hug. Less than 24 hours earlier, she says her husband, Miguel Stemley, 60, died after being pinned beneath his own vehicle during an attempted carjacking in the French Quarter.
Lisa Stemley says the manner in which her husband died breaks her heart.
“I wouldn’t want to see that happen to anybody, not even the person who did that to him. I wouldn’t want anybody to go through what I’m going through right now. It’s unnecessary to take a person’s life for nothing, a vehicle, that you didn’t even get. It doesn’t make sense,” said Lisa Stemley…
