Brown County K-9 who found kids lost in forest was once stray living off truck stop scraps

NASHVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The Brown County K-9 credited with finding two missing kids in the Hoosier National Forest was once a stray living off scraps near a Shelbyville truck stop.

News 8 previously reported on K-9 Knox on Tuesday after he and his partner, Brown County Deputy Cody Loncaric, tracked down two 11-year-olds who got separated from their mother and were lost in the woods.
